Flow Release notes | Version 2.0.1

On the V2 stack of the Decentro Accounts and Payments module, we have made significant changes to enhance the scalability and user experience on the payments side.

Axis On-Demand synchronous response on transaction status for UPI and IMPS

  • For platforms that want to have a use case of receiving a synchronous response of the transaction status in the initiate payout API itself.
  • This is an On-demand feature that will be provided based on use cases that require a synchronous response.
To enable this feature, please contact [email protected]

Introduction of the “transactionStatus” parameter in Direct Payout APIs on the Staging environment

  • To differentiate between API status and Transaction Status, Decentro has introduced the “transactionStatus” parameter to avoid confusion on the actual status of the transaction.
  • The current “Status” parameter will not be impacted by this change, the current integration performed by platforms can be continued as it is. But Decentro recommends platforms utilize the “transactionStatus” parameter to map transaction status to avoid any confusion on the statuses.
  • The introduction of the “transactionStatus” parameter is implemented on staging environments only. Once the platforms have performed their testing and integration, Decentro will implement this on production as well.
  • The advisory on the implementation of production will be sent regularly with the timelines for implementation.
For further information, please refer to the API reference of Direct Payouts.
  • The APIs that will have the transaction status parameter are
    • Validate Bank Account API
    • Initiate Payout API
    • Get Transaction Status API
    • Batch Get Transaction Status API

Simulation Data for Validate Bank Account API for penniless, penny drop, and hybrid model.

  • For platforms to simulate the penniless, penny drop, and hybrid response, Decentro has provided the simulation data on the staging environment to simulate the response.
  • For the simulation data, please refer to the simulation data section of the validate bank account API.
  • Note: Penniless and Hybrid simulations are only available for IDFC as a provider.
