Autopay registrations were failing due to an incorrect initiation mode configuration. Initially, the QR initiation mode was set to "15", but as per NPCI’s UPI Mandate Linking v1.64 document, it should be "13". Some TPAPs (Third-Party Application Providers) like Paytm and ICICI Mobile had already adopted this change, causing failures in our Autopay process, while others like GPay and PhonePe had not yet implemented it.
