Validate VPA

This API is used to check whether a particular UPI-ID (Virtual Payment Address) is valid. Decentro recommends platforms use this before triggering a collection request.

Please Note: This service is not available as a stand-alone service. This service is only available to clients initiating collect requests via our payment aggregation stack.

Decentro provides 2 levels of validation of VPAs.

• Basic: this informs the platform if the VPA is valid or invalid as well as the name.
• Advanced: this provides additional details of a VPA, linked bank account, etc.
